Need advice on coping with my father's passing . I was already very stressed out and had really bad focus. I feel lost now , I can't even cry the tears won't come out. Why can I cry for a stupid movie and not now...

    I'm sorry. *big hugs*

Do you have PTO/vacation saved up? Maybe take your bereavement, then tack on a few days so you can go drive out to a park you've never been to? Hike around, walk with yourself, talk to yourself, let it all hurt and come out.

Do worry about trying to find an answer. Just be.

I lost my dad when I was 25, he was 46. Have not had the chance to tell him good bye or how much I loved him.

The pain will never go away. You will learn to live with it. Take some time off if you can. Try to make peace with the situation. And know that it won't help your dad at all if you go into depression or suffer for a long time.

    Have a drink on him.

And here, have a hug. Sounds weird, but it helps :)

Oh man... I'm really sorry for your loss, please accept my condolences... Please be strong... I'm afraid I can't give a good advice on how to cope with it but you may want to eat some chocolate, it releases endorphins into the brain helping to decrease stress levels.

It took me a while before crying.. and I wondered why am not crying too.

The thing is I was a kid and I did not accept it.

I don't know what to tell you man .. but just be strong .. be there for ur family.

May they all rest in peace !

    *hugs*
Pain and shock, sometimes they overwhelm the urge to cry. Please don't feel guilty about it. It will come.

Give it time. Talk to a friend of family member about whatever you're feeling at the moment.
