At an event and the speaker says "No one develops native apps anymore".

I am next,talking about developing native android apps.

    Native apps are so much better if that's what is required, I imagine it's much the same as the knob heads who keep saying the desktop is dead. I don't see offices of people working on iPads and chrome books

    I heard a nice observation when it comes to hybrid vs native: "Do hybrid first, then if it starts getting traction. Remake to native for that platform." That way you optimize for your larger audience. True, with larger apps this might be hard to impossible. But for smaller apps this just might be the thing :)
