    ... Is it OK to ask where you got the pattern if you used one and what yarn you used? Kinda wanting to get into crocheting myself... It may not last, though, if this is a difficult project...

    Looks good enough I wanna recreate and eat it at the same time! And the face makes me question that...

    @BlueNutterfly I got the pattern from the book Whimsical Stitches by Lauren Espy but I just found this pattern online that looks similar (https://cdn.accentuate.io/467906868... - hopefully that link works 🫠)

    I used some medium weight yarn from a cheap acrylic yarn pack I bought off Amazon, a 4 mm crochet hook, Polyfill, safety eyes from a pack I bought off Amazon, and some embroidery thread.

    Is there any reason for that name? As in, is it a specific technique or style? Ami here means 編み(knitting) and gurumi comes (I think) from nuigurumi, meaning plushy. So, knitted plushy. Just wondering if it is a specific Japanese technique.
