Jilano272884y"Totally reasonble bro"
Your post picked my curiosity, by the way. I do wonder how many people are still using desktop email client (then the percentage of Thunderbird, Outlook, etc.) -
@Jilano yeah, fixed it thanks. Gotta get used to mx reds.
I know one people who uses thunderbird, but shes my lawyer and it makes sense for her to have like 20 accounts grouped in the same application. -
Most companies DON'T use webmailers (Outlook / Lotus Notes mostly), Thunderbird is still widespread on desktop, and some mail addresses like "info@" are going to be spammed whether you put it on the website or not.
Also, mail clients retain a copy what I have sent at which time, unlike some crappy contact form. -
@Jilano Tbh I favor desktop clients and use Thunderbird with my own mail server but my main account is on Tutanota and I love their interface so yeah...

Jilano272884y@linuxxx I feel you. I went with an email service that supports the usual protocols for that very reason. I want to be able to use whatever email client (be it native or web-based), without having to worry.
Why the fuck do you need a custom email box on your website instead of just having your address there, nobody has a desktop email client set up that would work with mailto.
yes this is a plug for my new blog post
