There is no pain like having to talk a parent through how to commit and push your work because you forgot to when you left home....

    Why can't you just ssh your home PC/laptop? All your parents need to do at most in turning that thing on :P

    Wow, that must have been excruciatingly frustrating. I have a hard enough time being patient and guiding my mom through installing a new application on her computer

    @Spy653 you could have used team viewer, I always use it to setup/resolve issues on my parent's phones/PCs...

    @BuggyBrain I installed an open-ssh server on my Windows machine and use putty or winscp to access remote machines from my windows. It's easier to setup on Linux, true, but still it's easier than telling parents to use git.

    Never used ssh with Windows... with SSH only thing I can think of is Linux machines, will try it out... Thanks

    Team viewer saves me all the time..i installed it on everything with a monitor...not my tv or microwave ofcourse
