Fucking Microsoft.

Search for a message in Teams. Find it. Want to see the reply sent immediately after it. Look for "jump to message" button. Doesn't exist.

Find some forum post from 2 years ago about this issue, where Microsoft hits with the classic "Not supported, please submit feedback here:" with a dead link.

What the fuck. How a company with so many resources and such widely used products can make such a PILE OF UNUSABLE GARBAGE is literally unfathomable to me.

What the fuck is the point of being able to search for a message if I can't see what gets sent right after or right before it? My god it makes me want to nosedive through sheetrock into the nearest accessible stud.

Doesn't it actually have a button just for that, but it only shows the message itself and not the thread it was posted in?

@electrineer Yes, but only in the web version. The desktop client doesn't have that button at all

@jsteph are you using a highly outdated Linux desktop version?

@iiii Yeah, though I guess that is dead soon :(

I really feel you. I had the native Linux client, too. Was raging till someone told me that there is a button... Inn another Version.

Been using teams via the browser some weeks now. It works. If you use chrome or chromium you can "wrap the tab as an app". That way you can find it in your system as if it was installed.
