The “messing with the money for the C suite” rule. The most important of all.

I learned that after buttsex, there are cases where the one that got it in the pooper has to go to the toilet and let out a really hard fart. Courtesy of my gay friend who thought I was sleeping when he got kinky with one of his fuck buddies, at like 6 a.m.
I really didn’t need to know that. But I got to witness it firsthand. -
@TeachMeCode interviews are all dumb luck, sadly. Sometimes you just remember or know exactly the thing the interviewer is asking. I’ve never been in an interview where I thought I could pass it literally any day of the year, forever.
You can of course increase your chances by preparing, but that’s all you do. Increase your luck roll. -
“I did it for lolz”
what a legend -
I’d rather kill adobe first
-
Nah, just you.

If your work depends a lot on terminal usage, avoid windows. I use WSL2 and it works, but I always run into small issues with some software because it has to run on windows but uses a lot of the Linux subsystem functionality. You can go ahead and fuck with it until you configure how you want it to work, or you could use Linux. The only reason I have this setup is because I play a ton of video games.
As for hardware, up to you. I like ASUS laptops. -
@electrineer yes

@kobenz I’m trying out lazyvim now, it looks cool and more importantly it makes me look like a hacker so I may go to the local cafe and whip it out.
-
As a peasant that has never used vim or eMacs, I’m curious. What are the benefits?

I worked with WP for a year. It’s shit for many reasons, so I’d only take a WP job if it paid me like 3 times what I earn right now. And only as a temporary job while I prepare something else to jump ship.
The reality is that WP is used by a ton of non programmers. This means that whatever bad experiences you have had with shit code from other programmers will be eclipsed by whatever you’ll face in a CMS project. Unless the team is composed of programmers that know what they’re doing and more importantly, can keep the business people from setting the thing on fire. -
I wanna be the very best. Like no one ever was.

A buddy of mine works at sales force. Apparently they pay is really good, way more than what I get.
But my only thought when I heard that was: “lol salesforce “ -
I bought factorio after playing the demo
I’m afraid
It’s a long holiday here too -
I suggest going to the local priest and subscribing to their EaaS (exorcism as a service) offering. They tend to be reasonably priced and have a very good success rate on the removal of things such as the gay.
I’m praying for your daughter 🙏 -
Hello SaaS friend. What are you using for analytics? Please don’t say Google analytics.

I wonder if Ranma schlicked at the first chance?
-
Why not make a class from that?
-
If you pass tell them you wanted the free 100 bucks and ghost them after you get them
-
@daniel-wu how slow? Just how many resources does a “give me a chocochip cookie recipe” prompt take?

I like tailwind 👀

If you can find what code gets called on what situation, it starts to become possible to extract code into functions you can unit test. It’s neigh impossible if it relies on thousands of god objects and their state, but it’s a starting point if you can get to the very smallest possible unit of code.
Setting the office on fire is a better alternative as well. -
Yeah I use it sometimes. The phone also has it, it’s pretty helpful. I wonder if they’ll ever invent cut and paste? Maybe they can use AI to develop it.
-
@fullstackcircus they don’t get to the top by being nice to the customer, after all.
-
@max19931 Apple?
-
Tis weak to fire!

@AleCx04 people really underestimate what being able to grind can mean. Obviously just grinding is dumb, but being able to put up with shit is just as valuable. I got the worst of both worlds, where I went to a useless college that didn’t even teach DSA properly, but also neglected my DSA and now I’m grinding it after years of experience writing shit code. It is humbling, to say the least.
Same goes for certifications. -
@Demolishun In AI world, everything becomes an Asian woman.

@TeachMeCode I started as an archer, I have yet to switch classes. It is a lot of fun but it is lacking in usable skills and in enemy variety. I wish I could have more than 4 skills at the same time. I was trying to roll too, but I learned to do it more like monster hunter, where rather than rolling I learn good positioning.

Took my partner out to celebrate her birthday. She was really happy! She also liked her presents.
Rest of the weekend is all about side projects and dragons dogma 2.
