@shovethisrant yeah... but its a really narrow space behind my side view mirror... so not a simple option.

@jestdotty lactase is the enzyme for lactose processing. I use it daily because its less complicated than finding or creating a bunch of non-dairy things i like.
I did actually create an awesome and surprisingly healthy snack thing when i was cleaning out my pantry months ago. Its just quinoa, parmesan and baby spinach... and a lot of seasoning like turmeric, mustard seed, etc. Idk what to call it. Im not typically a fan of quinoa but it's oddly good/addicting in this form. Its like crunchy and crispy, but also looks weird. Technically it could be the sole food someone eats and itd still be balanced fats, fiber, most vitamins, protein, etc. -
@jestdotty UX has become what it was implicitly created to be... a very abbreviated version and quality of user experience.
-
@jestdotty i just didnt edit the screenshot. The blonde female with short hair, face piercings and glasses is me/my pic on LinkedIn. It's a few yrs old; I gotta update it soon... *ugh*

@C0D4 runes? Like nordic ones or black magic? It matters.

@Demolishun old thread but... you can tell they are Indian or not with a very simple test that ive played with for years. I'm so serious im a bool of 1.(totally thinking that should be a t-shirt now). Get a chicken noise soundtrack and play it during the call like it's just normal. So far, 41 out of 43 times if it's a native english speaker they ask about it or just directly mention it... like if they studder a second then apologise for the chicken catching them off-guard. The indian ones just always ignore it. Seriously, extremely high, and hysterical, success rate.

Imo, it's better to insult people by using words they don't know that are still in their native tongue. I learned/did that since at least 1st grade/age 6. Called some boys who made fun of *not me* "bipedal pedestrians". Class rules were: no name calling, no insulting, no swear words. Followed the rules totally, and pissed them off intentionally.
Btw, i know like 7+ languages, including fluent dutch (super out of practice verbally in it so id sound like a drunk/normal german or worse). -
Dude... a wasp nest from last year just came back alive. Sprayed the hell outta it last year, assumed itd be dead still.
It's behind the driver's side, side view mirror. I wasnt wanting to drive with my window down. If i have the mirror at a very specific angle the adult wasps I've seen, apparently, can't get out...but im pretty sure they laid eggs. I need to remember to buy wasp spray when im out next. -
@TeachMeCode his message to me was that we have some "local overlap" ...claims to be in TX but im assuming that's a lie or he'd realise TX and MI are very far apart lol.
-
I also find it extra sleezy when someone, esp in 3rd person, mentions their amazing business ethics...
-
@TeachMeCode this guy added me. I dont live anywhere near TX.
-
Add an 'i' and middle name Goku.

@lastNick connecting with eccentric rich people and/or people in powerful positions... but im pretty sure that's more of a me thing. I like using LinkedIn to toy with morons claiming their "opinion" is right because they think it is... people have forgotten that there's still a difference between an opinion and a valid opinion. I catch up on some necessary topics and professionally trash talk against invalid opinions.

@TeachMeCode probiotics, like vitamins, are intended as daily use.
-
@thebiochemic by you saying it's not any different, im thinking you don't really understand the mechanics behind these processes... and when youre saying 'on steam' youre only ref to the games that play through steam as an emulator, which gets more complex as spec reqs go up.
To be clear, im not talking about the user experience for games thatd be generally low req. Im talking about the games that need to work with the OS and the general efficiency of things like the emulator of steam. These things typically arent noticed by users until it's hit a threshold of crashing or near unplayable... or fucked up shit elsewhere. They, and things with the same variety of catch-all mechanics, tend to use more resources than otherwise necessary. -
@TeachMeCode genes can certainly be a factor... i wouldn't call it preventable, like the acquired diabetes, but for most people there's the big factors of if they regularly eat that much dairy and basic gut health(especially the kind that thrives on good bacteria like from probiotics and/or yogurt)

@Kernel
I encountered this ad and thought of you. -
@donkulator
@TeachMeCode was correct -
@shovethisrant
Fun fact- in michigan if the female is older it can only be "sexual misconduct" never statutory rape. Imo seems fucked up. -
@IntrusionCM im an avid supporter of the darwin awards.

Yeah, it's bad. I have an issue in all aspects of life with being too approachable for some reason. It's been all ages, from fat as hell with long hair and jo piercings to short hair, glasses, 80-100lbs lighter and eyebrow/septum/snake bites. Random ppl and celebs alike. Stuff like helping coach hs forensics turned into me being the one they spill their souls seeking advice to. The ignorance is real.
I met this 12yr old trans (m2f) south korean/american (50/50, including time spent here vs there) kid, he really fell through the cracks. Had never had a boner from attraction yet was already on constant hormones... no clue about basic af sex. There's no way to help with shit like that, im an adult and its some kid who didnt have valid resources. Any adult (often schools too) trying to help risks prison. -
@kiki youtube goes nuts on me easily. I looked up some late 90s/early 00s songs in english one day, that coupled with my typical german medieval rock and beyond... somehow it started suggesting madonna and taylor swift
-
@NeatNerdPrime simple for u to say, im handicapped.
-
@TeachMeCode there's no visible fs.
-
@Demolishun street fighter on genesis was my shit.
-
@Demolishun if you ever need to cut the balls off of a windows system just let me know... ive been doing it over 2 decades

@TeachMeCode
I liked chuckie cheese as a kid. It wasnt for the pizza and i thought the people in suits were creepy... i had no idea why anyone would want that crap.
I liked the arcade games. In hindsight it's probably a huge contributor to my comp sci ability. Id get annoyed when they didnt work as they were supposed to so i ended up figuring out how to fix the machines. I keep finding/remembering more shit i did as a kid that really shouldve stuck out more as odd... like the pattern recognition of arcade games and how id be calculating the value of tickets/prizes vs tokens. Ive probably done more training of arcade techs than the places they got hired at... just cuz the machines being broken annoyed me. It's definitely continued on... zap zone(laser tag chain), dave and busters, the big arcade in the hotel by me... im really bad at tolerating broken machines so ive just ended up teaching the techs. -
Well this answers the questions of my internal monologue.
I've been trying to decide if i should just make an app version of thunderbird so i can manage my loads of inboxes (~30). Cuz if i end up just making my own for android ill end up wanting to make the small additional leap to just replacing tbird all together. Seems like i should. -
@Demolishun oh im not saying they/it is all fake. Just the 2 catagories.
For future ref, i think of basically everything the same way as i do religion. do i think its all valid/real? Ofc not. im agnostic. I think atheists are the true fools. The believers latch onto *something* they think/want to believe is real, whether it is or isn't is currently impossible to prove. But atheists? They directly say those things certainly dont exist. That's just straight up illogical since it cant be proven either way.
Until there's some near tangible logic to gauge these things, i just observe. If nothing comes in my lifetime either, then I'll either know the truth after death or wont be thinking/existing in any form anyway.
Btw, i was raised/schooled in roman catholic... even an altar server for years (if you knew me irl youd find that image hilarious). Even as a kid i checked multiple sources for answers. I caused issues in 1st grade by comparing answers which pitted 2 priests against eachother. -
@shovethisrant youd be surprised how many people dont know basics. Point 1- a medical assistant, 20s(mid maybe early) taking my history asked me "hysterectomy? What's that? I feel like i should know." The follow up question... "does not having a uterus make it harder to have children?" It was a female btw.
2- a friend's gf (mid 20s) told me "i wish i got the other herpes first" (she, and he, had genital herpes). Ofc i asked wtf/why?... "well if i got the cold sore type thatd have been easier to deal with"... i circled back to the "first" part. Apparently she thought you could only have 1 type at a time... like immunity to genital herpes if you have the cold sore varieties. -
Dude, Where's My Car?
