Great job, I like its UI, reminds of me of Paw for macOS

@gitpush thanks. Indeed I took a bit of inspiration from Paw for the left side bar. Paw is a great tool for Mac

@Kidjenius Gonna download and test on my laptop when I'm home, I'm sick of stupid postman and its memory eating habit

@p32929 thanks. Yours looks good too! Are you using xamarin?

@p32929 Looks great , but if I may suggest, it is a personal opinion, "No parameters added" make it smaller, its taking space for a simple message, and when params are added increase its size to current size and make it scrollable.

But are you allowed to name it postman? I recommend you change it or your app will be removed and might get your account suspended

    Open Source?
  • 0
@hypervtechnics no, not currently open source

@p32929 I'd hide it if no params are there

@Kidjenius Just gonna go ahead and ask the entry question without having a look at it in any detail. (It looks very good, this is not a negative question!)

Compared to Postman, in what ways does it benefit me from using this piece of software? And, what is currently missing / in planning? ☺️

    looks gorgeous!

@Kidjenius amazing can't wait to try it out

@beggarboy postman is enterprise grade, so Nightingale is currently not as good when it comes to number of features.

But Nightingale's biggest advantage is memory usage. Postman is notorious for using 500MB memory or more even when you're doing nothing with it. Nightingale uses around 60MB.

There are other minor advantages as well such as Windows Timeline integration and native Windows 10 ARM support.

Some major features being planned are a token management system, a code generator, and workspace backup and sync

    Looks awesome.

Please, oh please make a MacOS version
  • 0
@theMaintainer thanks. Unfortunately, I can't afford a Mac right now so no plans for a Mac version ☹️ have you tried Paw on Mac?

    make a version for linux
  • 0
@AI-Overlord linux is unfortunately outside the scope of this project.
  • 0
@Kidjenius Yeah feels too bloated xD this looked like a more stripped down version :)
  • 0
@theMaintainer Nightingale is quite lightweight yup. When you get a Surface, make sure to grab Nightingale to try!
  • 0
@Kidjenius That implies I would a) buy a surface for personal use or b) My employer would replace all MacBooks with surfaces. Which is both unlikely xD

    However I wouldn't have a problem buying a license for a Mac version :D

Gonna give this a go.. Postman hogs 500+ mb with just 3 tabs open...
