Sometimes I get these negative emotions when I see people use cracked software.

Something wrong with me?

    No.

Cracked software means some ones not getting paid.

It depends. If the company changes the terms of purchase after the purchase has been done you have to crack it to get it legally.

Or when you have a legal key for something that out of the blue stops working.

Ive cracked windows, games and slicers. All of them I had legitimate access to but for reasons out of my control I lost access to it.
I've bought Diablo 2 three times after that I started cracking it.

@Codex404 Depends. You are right but if you pirate a indie game that is a issiue.

@Gregozor2121 not when you have the right to.

And most indie developers rather have you pirate it than buy it through G2A and the likes (what still a lot of people do)
I know some indie devs that say: If you want to pirate the game that's fine, I see that as a compliment just buy the game when you have the money and you've enjoyed it.

So some give you permission to pirate it
