JIRA.

Plenty of good things happened at work this year. Then we started using jira. That "heavy" bucketfull of shit though.

What would you recommend me as an alternative to Jira?

@elibyy well, I've been working with Jira for some time now and I like it but I don't now what other options are you using right now that could replace Jira.

JIRA really can be a pain in the ass, and it's pretty heavy (and expensive). Having said that, it's also very good and it integrates well with other Atlassian products - making for great developer organisation and project transparency. It's pretty good when you use it the way it is intended!

My internship uses Pivotal. It has an user friendly, amazing looking user interface. It also has some neat features like duplicating issues, mentioning colleges, statistics like burndown charts etc.

Jira is way too slow and heavy but works good for agility. That's the only reason we are using it.

We are trying to move away from JIRA to get onto Phabricator. I quite like it. https://github.com/phacility/...
