From fresh experience, IF you are learning Git I would really suggest you fully learn it from a professional before really using it. So you don't accidently delete 1,5 weeks of work like I just did :))))))))))))

    Several online schools have free Git classes.

    Why don't write your own Version Control System, so you don't have to fuck around with Git?

    @Gatgeagent First off i'm not that skilled since I'm only in high school (Swedish gymnasium)
    And the second is I don't have time with developing my own. I have to focus on school and develop myself as a programmer first :(

    @enen Don't ask why (long story) but I wrote "git checkout ." on master. What I read it can't be reversed... :(

    @enen Yeah exactly, I hadn't commited since I thought "I better make this feature usable before commiting and pushing it!"

    Always work in branches and commit once in a while.

    @dermansi Since I don't have alot of knowledge about git I think i'll start braching everything from now on😳
