    Windows 10 doesn't do this anymore.

    @filthyranter haha well, yeah it still does, but only if you've messed with the included telemetry and spyware, which I recommend.

    On my windows 10 laptop I get a list of simple options. It really isn't as bad as you make out here. :/

    @halesnax No, it doesn't. If you reach a number of updates, you'll get a personalised update package.

    Disable the updates, do them manualy, power off with win+r: shutdown -s -f -t 0

    @devilirium I've done this, doesn't work.

    In any case I just altered the registry. I'm good now
