And why does it delete all the conversations after you close the window? 😑

@irene damn, we were 4 people trying to look for it, and no one remembered to do that. Thank you!

@cantthinkofone @irene It's pretty messed up that it doesn't have auto retrieval when scrolling back a conversation thread. But thank you for pointing out where they actually store the darn chat logs!

@dontbeevil If chat logs take up too much space, they're doing something wrong 😤

Microsoft Teams is a much better alternative. You get almost all the features of Slack plus great integration with other MS Office apps.

I'm trying so hard to push my colleagues to move to Teams, away from Skype for business

"My" company is moving into it as would it be the new black. Yay. Only benefit - our partners uses it soless hassle there...

@xnor Where I work, they're using both Teams and Skype FB at the same time >.<

Teams has provided the far better UX, for sure.

@dontbeevil Is this a theoretical or literal? Because I'd like to know which company has to deal with that. Either way, it's still minimal. If it's a company managing millions of employees, they damn sure better be able to afford storage for chat logs

@xnor does it has call features?

@irene I was able to update the standalone version, it's a mix of the Windows 10 app and the old standalone one.. though SfB is different from this and it sucks cawk

@nkhan yes, both voice and video call. One to one and group calls. They can also be recorded through MS Streamer, which can later give you a transcript of the entire meeting.

Finally moved to Teams, though it keeps crashing on me. But 100 versions better from s4b
