    There's a manual application too iirc, so you can message them and they could add and or temporarily approve you, not sure where I've read that there, but you should look for it somewhere on those pages.

    @JoshBent It said something about that when I went to check out, I just didn't do it.

    I was in the process of switching from dicking around on the internet to doing productive stuff like homework lol.

    @JoshBent So it took me to a Google docs form & asked for my uni name + email.

    Hopefully they'll accept it. I was excited and motivated lol.

    Either way, a .com version of the name I want is also available for ~$10, so I might just grab that if they don't.

    They have a manual process too, it on the site only, u have to upload your student ID card photo and then wait for approval. Got mine like that only

    The exact same thing happened to me last year. The manual method didn't work either. I remember being annoyed for the entire weekend.

    You can use your ID card if you have one to get approved, I got mine with a photo of my college ID card few years ago..

    I'm blind or dumb as fuck one.

    It asked for the primary email associated with my GitHub account since I've linked the two. I'm registered and good to go lol
