@donkulator true. Some sort of filtering system for food dropped into sarlacc pit should be set up. Perhaps it could only feed the things that are good for the sarlacc and the rest of the waste could be transported by "boat" to another land.
-
@Root how these people get any work done is beyond me
-
@Root why do people care about how they call the master / main branch?
- They should just call it what they will, but make an effort to contribute with actual code and make an effort to write readable code.
- Not like some of the slackers I see all the time that don't do shit or write 1 line of code after they copy 99% of the feature from my branch, and then act very oppinionated on what code should go to master. -
@donkulator ideal waste disposal
-
I hear it every day during daily
-
You mean like flexing at work? Like flex time?
-
Sorry to hear good sir. Please seek help ASAP, a hotline or anyone close.
-
@awesomeest all interns are ghosts. Back in my day, the other seniors had no time for chit chat or anything.
-
@kiki Then erase that POS code and let it be forgotten.
-
@shovethisrant Thanks. Nice of you to say that. However, if there's one thing I learned is that it really doesen't matter how you perform where I am. At the end of the performance review I am considered a hammer that is not performing well because he cannot rake leaves.
-
@donkulator Best explanation ever. Really puts things in a different light. What should I do then? Follow in those footsteps? Is there a future for someone like me who has kids, to do something like that? Or is it only for people with nothing to lose?
-
Does it solve the problem?
Is it readable?
Can I discard the bad parts and keep the good ones and also have the code running? -
@jiraTicket for me it sounds like you guys are still extremely lucky. I'm also in EU and it seems they are only posting jobs that are hybrid with 3 days WFO.
In other words, everyone please hang on to WFH and don't apply to jobs requiring WFO if possible -
Non-paid internhorse

Glad to hear it's not happening to everyone than. My bad
-
As long as you have some unopened hummus in the fridge you should be fine.
Are you really a mamma? -
Congrats! Please educate your kid well. We need more well educated kinds of people
-
Oh snap, as in segmentation fault on the disk?
-
As someone who worked in an agency I totally agree with all these statements.
-
No book should be considered fundamental. Just use your mind. Read some parts of any book that interest you.
-
Congrats on working in embedded

The company is using M365 with Sharepoint on Cloud, after I did the migration from some other solution.
Wow, I thought Sharepoint was bad, I never imagined it was this bad. -
@jestdotty You go girl. Make those babies if you can. Keep your spirit up during difficult times as a a mom.
Mid-life fatigue is a thing. Take care of yourself when you can and you will do just fine. -
@NeatNerdPrime Protect the trees damn it. Lost a 30-year old cherry tree because of drought
-
If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all
-
@greengeko worst enemy but also the one I go to when having to try something on Linux fast
-
Resist VMs and ask them for a normal machine like a laptop or smth
-
@jestdotty I agree. It feels like this emergency bullshit is how they get people to fix their "management" mistakes
-
@donkulator they stole 6 months from us? those bastards
-
@nitwhiz I like the fact that you pointed this out
