Can't you program Libre Calc with Python?

Should have said retarded instead.
-
@Root well Indian temples have porn carvings on the outside.
-
Sounds more like "Senior Dev Simulator".
-
@NickyBones I like blading. Not much else.
-
I feel very self conscious doing these in the house. I will have to get over this.
-
@jestdotty I was just doing walks. Then I started lowering my height a bit. By the time my normal walk is done my legs feel it really good. So a 10 minute walk with slightly bent legs to get lower feels good. I definitely breath harder. Then the stretch after is amazing.
I have done a few of the exercises on this list today and I feel great. I think this is going to incentivize me. -
@TeachMeCode read, program, buy more shit for it.
-
@fruitfcker you won The Game?
-
Going to do 30 seconds planking (or more). 10 seconds is way too short.
-
@CoreFusionX yeah, we used to do dance dance revolution with the pads. We had 4 pads and I was learning how to make better once for cheap. That was like 10 years ago. I thought about going vr, but have space and room usage issues right now. Definitely good idea.

@Berkmann18 well they were working with EIG owned "security" company last I checked. That security company tried to scam me when I had Hostgator (also EIG brand) as a hosting company. EIG changed name/got bought, but as far as I can tell they destroy good brands they buy. I cannot remember the name of the security company though.

@thebiochemic
People who hate Windows:
I have had this and this and this...
Me: never sees those issues
People who hate Linux:
I have had this and this and this...
Me: I have had some of those issues, but its free and I can fix shit from the command line.
Reminds me when I tried to help someone run Linux. They bought a printer. The disk didn't come with Linux drivers. So they were mad at me. I don't help anyone anymore. They can figure this shit out themselves. So, Linux user group stays small. -
Biology math: 1 + 1 = 3 (or more)

So is alcohol not allowed at all?
In my faith we use alcohol in our ceremonies. So this concept is really different for me. -
So MS was getting ready to release Windows 95. It was not going to have internet stuff in it. Bill Gates spent a few hours combing the web. He next instructed his employees to make internet happen now. So they snagged the net code from BSD (I think). That is why Windows had the same directory structure for it network config stuff. Like the hosts file and what not.
At least that is the story I heard. Not sure how real that is. Hmmm, I cannot find info on this. My searches aren't finding this arcane info. Maybe it is a dream. -
@Liebranca I meant to say "I am not jihadist." But I like your definition of jihadist. Fight the good fight.
-
Librewolf sounds interesting. I will have to check it out.
I keep Edge around for edge cases... -
Indian culture is so fascinating to me.
-
The business world, which we all have to make contact with periodically, is mostly Windows it seems. My boss HATES Windows. We use it as little as possible. Mostly in sales.
-
@Liebranca I am jihadist, but I am part of the brotherhood of left hand wipers.

@TeachMeCode either get arduino uno or a cheap clone off amazon. Probably 10$. You will need to get usb cable unless you find a cheap kit on amazon that includes cable. Then either use arduino ide or use vs code and get an arduino compiler. I think vs studio code is prob a nicer environment for a seasoned dev. aduino ide is kinda shit, but it works. If you shop smart on amazon it will be around $15.
For example:

@TeachMeCode what do you mean which kit?
-
@TeachMeCode go get an arduino. It is a whole different world.
-
@awesomeest what I find wild about C++ is that you can track 40 years of coding progress in its changes. The language is getting better, but people are still using the first 35 years of stuff.
But stuff that weirds me out. People avoiding the use of new and delete. I can see some of their reasoning, but some people still work at lower levels. It can't all be high level. -
I also don't work with any female colleagues at a close level currently anyway. We have a secretary, HR, and COO that are all women.
-
Another issue I have run into when working with women. If I talk and get to know them like I do male coworkers then they take it the wrong way. I have had 2 women who tried to sleep with me as a result. One was a computer scientist. So I keep my distance and have less intimate work relationships with women. I tend to be more buddy buddy with men. I am polite and welcome everyone into conversations. But I will not risk having women get the wrong idea. No, I don't socialize with colleagues outside of company parties either. I just don't see the point of that. I can only guess that this would cause some isolation with female colleagues. In recent years I have also been putting male colleagues at arms length. Maybe this is just me not being invested in work relationships. I don't know.

I knew 4 other people in my high school that actually were interested in CS. The rest only wanted to play games. 2 of them were women. This was early 90s. In my tech school there was 1 woman in the program out of 80. This woman made it to graduation out of like 20. This was for electronics which included some programming. I don't know why there was not more interest from women. This was before the big stem push for women. My wife thought programming was cool and could do some, but she really did not have interest in it. I have met 2 women in my career that were into CS as a job. I have worked with mostly men. When I was going to programming meetups we had 1 woman show up for one meeting once. Otherwise it was all men. So even hobby interest seems low. I don't know what the colleges are like. My guess is women start in programs and just lose interest about it compared to men (as do men).

@Jedidja C++ needs a makeover mode.
